Abstract

A lecture by Dr. William P. Jones discussing the lesser known history of the March on Washington and the movement that it inspired. Jones is a historian of the 20th Century United States and author of The March on Washington: Jobs, Freedom, and the Forgotten History of Civil Rights. He is also a professor of history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
