Abstract

Chelate titrimetry in nonaqueous media employing photometric detection of the endpoint offers a wide area of application in analytical chemistry. Very little work has been done in this field to date. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the suitability of sulfosalicylic acid, salicylaldoxime and ncetylacetone as titrating agents and of dioxane as the nonaqueous medium for photometric titrations.
