Abstract

In this thesis are reported the results of an investigation to determine whether the molds, Penicillium expansum, and an unidentified Penicillium, influenced the productivity of a scarlet-eyed mutant strain of Drosophila melanogaster. Also reported are the effects of these molds on the eggs, larvae, and adults of D. melanogaster.
