Abstract
It is the purpose of this thesis to give a brief outline of the study of distribution coefficients and to determine the distribution coefficient of acetic acid between water and bromobenzene, and the distribution coefficient of acetic acid between cyclohexene and water. There has been a great deal of work done in distribution ratios. However the research possibilities in this field are very extensive and the work done by the author is but a small part of what can be done in this field.
