Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to draw a comparison between the amount of local news carried by the Milwaukee Sentinel, a morning paper, and the Milwaukee Leader, an evening paper, over a period of one year from January 1, 1932, to January 1, 1933. This thesis will also include a report on the Sunday Sentinel but there can be no comparison because of the fact that the Leader does not publish a Sunday paper.
