Abstract
In modern times the field of chemistry has a broad scope and even a broader horizon. Yet for a girl the field is limited. One of the few industries in which she is capable and has a slight advantage is that of the cosmetic industry. In this field chemistry is used in the manufacture of lipsticks, shampoos, oils and creams. Research to improve these items is continually going on with a hope of finding cheaper and better products than those compounds already in use.
