Abstract

The three thousand seven hundred twenty three( 3,723) basic words in this seller have been taken from a list which Dr. George K.Vanderbeke, Professor of Education and Psychology at Marquette University, compiled from the Coleman Spelling Vocabulary Tests and the Iowa Scales in palling . Dr. Vanderbeke showed the percentage of word distribution so that a spelling vocabulary for the grades could be built.
