Abstract
If Shakespeare were living today he could truly say, "All the world’s a stage set for advertising," The setting, so elaborately intricate, enticing and compelling in its demands would no doubt be a picture of modern commerce, and upon the throne of this great power would be seated the King of Advertising, newspaper advertising. Justly so, for in order that commerce may create a desire for her wares, it "needs that power, with its skill, thought, resources and judgment, virile energy, largeness of mental growth and equipment, combined with a creative force that accomplishes things, which is called advertising,"
