Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to group into categories the subject matter of magazine articles carried in the three weeklies, Collier's, Saturday Evening Post, and Liberty, for a period of a year and a half commencing with July, 1934, and concluding with December, 1935, and to compute the amount of space devoted to each category in order to reveal recent trends in subjects for articles.
