Abstract
This thesis is primarily concerned with the development of creative powers in the intellect of the child. It would be well to determine exactly what is meant by "creative" as it will be treated here. To think of creation disentangled from change would be as futile as to connote man without soul. Change, then, is the distinguishing feature of creation, as soul is of man. Creative power is first manifested in creative thought, its colder, more hardy variety called reason.
