Abstract
This thesis has been divided into six chapters, the first pertains to the growth of hospitalization in the United States, the second, adequacy of hospital care in the United States. The third chapter is a study of the hospital facilities in Milwaukee County, and the fourth chapter pertains to the cost of Medical care in Milwaukee County. Chapters five and six treat of convalescent care and clinics in Milwaukee County.
The thesis attempts to show the extent of hospital facilities in the United States and particularly the facilities available in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
