Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to show that there is ethics in modern day newspaper and magazine advertising. There are thousands of critics in the country today who daily upraid modern advertising as being untrue and unethical. This thesis will refute these opinions and advance arguments which show that a great amount of ethics still exists both in the work of the advertising writer and in the mental attitude of the publishers of magazines and newspapers.
