Abstract
The Milwaukee Sewage Disposal Plant is unique in that it has successfully met the engineering and chemical problems encountered in putting the theories and ideas of the simple experimental station into operation on a large scale. Municipal sanitation was the aim of the plant. It has accomplished its purpose and has been operating several years with a high degree of efficiency and low per capita cost. The plant will be called upon to take care of the sanitary needs of Milwaukee for many years to come.
