Abstract
In every decade and in every century there are certain men who stand out, so to speak, above all others. Some men are famous for literature, some for art: some are before the public because of their philanthropic work, while others are famous because of political standing.
The world has always been set, and in each decade or century different actors appeared. In our time we have men such as Governor Smith, Senator Reed constantly before the public. In the last century we had Lincoln and before Lincoln we had Washington, Jefferson, etcetera.
