Abstract
It was the author’s assignment for an undergraduate thesis, to construct an ionization chamber, which, when connected to a Dershem electrometer, could be used to determine the intensity of an X-ray source producing ionization within the chamber. It was desired that the chamber conform to the physical dimensions of the ionization intensity unit, commonly called the “Roentgen".
