Abstract
The intention of the author in doing this research was to obtain some data on the effect of time, temperature, and pressure on the hydrogenation of castor oil at 100°C. The author is also interested to see if a method could be devised by which the saturated and unsaturated fatty acids could be separated from the hydroxy acids of hydrogenated castor oil.
