Abstract
The problem is solely one of scientific interest. Ethyl iodide is commonly Known as an organic compound which is a very poor solvent, For this reason salts were chosen, which resembled atomically ethyl iodide. That is salts containing iodine. It would be commonly suspected that salts of this nature would, if any, be soluble in ethyl iodide.
