Abstract

For many years the Court system of Milwaukee County has enjoyed a reputation for efficiency. There is need for more studies to determine wherein this efficiency lies. In the following pages there is merely set forth a group of studies of the District and Municipal Courts of Milwaukee County. No effort was made to gather material in such quantity that a history of the Court system could be compiled, but efforts were made to determine just how the Courts acted during the years 1929, 1950, 1931 and 1932.
