Abstract

In these pages, the reader is introduced to Network Theory, one of the most practical fields in the topology of today. The eighteenth century mathematician lsonhard Euler derived inspiration for his topological contributions from the now famous problem of the Seven Bridges of Konigsberg. The study of the bridges led Euler to the formulation of his general theory of Traversable Networks.
