Abstract
A growing awareness and concern over the importance of our environment has sparked Congress into implementing the massive task of successfully controlling the rapidly induced eutrophication process and destruction of one of our vital natural resources - surface and ground water. Ironically, the unparalleled progress, growth, industrializations and development of our society are responsible for generating waste streams defined as pollution. This life threatening unnatural man-made catalyst, is now threatening the quality and preservation of our natural waterways and groundwater resources.
