Abstract
God Is dialogue with man over the ages was the working out of a plan which, eternally foreordained, came to its fullness only in Christ, the ultimate revelation of the Father. St. Paul contributes his share to the dialogue by theologizing, in a sense, on the revelation of the Old Testament to give to it a vital newness presented in familiar biblical images. He gives to these texts a fullness of meaning undreamed of by the original authors.
