Abstract
In order to understand the interaction between t-RNA and an activating enzyme it is necessary to have highly purified activating enzyme in substrate quantities. In the present studies a procedure is worked out to obtain a homogenous preparation of Lysine activating enzyme. Further it is also necessary to know the chemical and physical properties of the enzyme. An attempt has been made to study the subunit nature of the enzyme by enzymatic and chemical studies.
