Abstract
This is the story of Ignatius Donnelly. This is not an account of his whole life but a story of his adventures in the Populist Party. We can say that these years were years of political failure in that Donnelly was unsuccessful in gaining offices of great magnitude; however, he was successful in obtaining minor offices. He also failed to influence others to his way of thinking although many of his beliefs found acceptance after his death.
