Abstract

The need for more reading instruction for students throughout high school has been encouraged by a number of reading experts. The professional person as well as the layman is realizing that many of the academic problems could be obviated or mitigated if students received more and better reading instruction in the high school. Therefore, treatment of instructional approaches is a worthy facet of reading to consider.
