Abstract
Ghana represents about one-ninety-seventh of the total land mass of Continental Africa. As such it has much in common with the mother continent. Its people have migrated from many other parts of Africa and are currently emigrating in substantial numbers back to these areas. Ghana's climate, topography, resources, economy, history, and culture have their roots in the Continent of Africa. Ghana is an integral part of Africa; therefore, a consideration of Ghana should begin by briefly considering all of Africa.
