Abstract
In the rather quiet period between Trinitarian and Christological controversies, lived John Chrysostom, Greek, Scholar, Cleric and Saint, a man of rare species who combined goodness and greatness, piety and genius, who even after death continued to exercise a fine influence on the Christian world by writings and memory.
