Abstract

Integrated circuits are dominating modern circuit design. Of these, the operational amplifier (op amp) shows up in nearly all analog circuits. Their popularity is a result of low cost due to mass production, high reliability and well-defined performance characteristics. Their applications span the gamut from basic math function blocks to complex instrumentation and control circuits.
