Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to pr sent the policies and activities of the Sinn Fein Movement from 1905-1921. It includes: the policies of the nationalistic movements preceding it; the policies of Sinn Fein from 1905-1921; its activities in regard to the repeal of the union with England, including the part played in the Rebellion of 1916 and the negotiating of the Free State Treaty of 1921.
