Abstract
A complete study of all cases of spina bifida treated at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital since 1924. The present status of all operated cases is discussed. Special emphasis has been placed on the etiology and mechanism of hydrocephalus in spina bifida. The intracranial postmortem findings in all cases presenting hydrocephalus were noted and recorded. An unusual case of frontonasal encephalocele is presented.
