Abstract

In view of the fact that many hypertensive patients on guanethidine receive a number of different drugs, it is essential to determine whether there is any drug interaction. There is a need for more scientific information regarding the possible reversal of guanethidine induced hypotension by phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants, indirect sympathomimetics, antihistamines and other drugs.
