Abstract
Television appears to be the greatest media of communication and public relation yet known to man. Television, as a leisure time activity seems to exert a tremendous influence on a child's development. Therefore it appears necessary to become better acquainted with television, which appears to be not only assuming a more prominent role in the child's activities but appears to be becoming a very powerful and effective teaching ally.
With information of the televiewing habits of children, educators can better acquaint themselves with the child and also stimulate a more critical attitude toward future televiewing. Furthermore the tremendous impact that television carries appears to be of deep concern.
