Abstract
Faith is a unique act. It is the act of free men responding to the c all of a personal God. Faith is the human reaction to confrontation with mystery. It requires intellectual assent to the truths presented by Christo It calls for fidelity to a person. In a fuller sense, Christian faith is a way of life for it is a turning of the human ego toward Christ. Faith is openness to divine love which invites us to share in Trinitarian love. It is a movement of the human heart by which we deliberately give ourselves to Someone , Christ , in complete self- surrender. Faith , precisely , is the union of God and man in an encounter that delivers us into an interminal life- giving community.
