Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to study the decrees of Vatican Council II and the trends in theological thought concerning the concepts of the interrelated and the interdependent triad, freedom, authority, and obedience, as well as to study the direction that administration and government in selected religious communities of women are taking in response to these decrees and concepts.
