Comments
This cosplay is inspired by the artwork in two ways. First, this artwork represents community, as shown by the many pieces coming together as one. This is particularly relevant to my experience with the Lockwood & Co. fandom. Lockwood & Co. is one of the TV shows that has been cancelled by Netflix. I started watching the show fairly late and took even longer to get into the fandom because I wanted to read the books first. However, once I joined the fandom, I was surprised by how active the community still was. Even with no new content coming out (although there is a very active "save the show" campaign ), the fan spaces online (Discord, AO3, Reddit, etc.) are quite active, and they became one of my favorite virtual places to visit. Second, the artwork reminds me of the character I cosplayed, Lucy Carlyle, because she has a close connection with a talking skull in the books.
