Creator's Notes: This is my first ever piece written in the Naruto world. I haven't even finished all of it yet, but after watching over 500 episodes, I like the THINK I know enough to do a bit of acceptable characterization!

The artwork includes the line, "There is little new under the sun." This piece was fun, because I was trying to make sure it slotted into the timeline of Shippuden without contradicting anything shown in the anime, while also showing things from a different angle. The Naruto universe is both so well-explored in the anime and yet feels so filled with ideas barely explored at all. I look forward to exploring this world further, showcasing elements, like friendships between ninjas and civilians, rarely looked at in the original story. Nothing new, exactly, just... old things from a new angle.
