Abstract
The purpose of this study is threefold: 1. To discover the method and coverage of journalism courses in the Catholic secondary schools; 2. To determine teacher competency for teaching journalism; and 3. To evaluate the aims and benefits of the journalism courses as taught in the Catholic high schools, primarily by the teachers themselves.
