Abstract

It is known that under various growth conditions, utilizing different carbon sources, certain enzymes in Neurospora crassa are induced relative to their levels under normal growth conditions. Cytochemical localization, using electron microscopy, of these enzymes may further establish their compartmentalization within an organelle and may provide additional information toward understanding cellular metabolism and growth.
