Abstract

This paper describes the development of a computer program called NACF for the nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete framed structures. The inelastic analysis is formulated as a linear complementarity problem. The computer program that was developed, can be used to perform the complete analysis of a reinforced concrete frame under any system of static, gravity or lateral load and any given geometry. Three examples are presented which show the efficiency of the program and the manner in which show the efficiency of the program and the manner in which it can be used to analyze large framed structures.
