Abstract

The child placing movement is a recognized branch of social service, and it should be studied as a system to promote juvenile welfare and as a section of sociology.

The family is the fundamental and elementary organism of society. It, in order to be complete, must be composed of parents and children. his social unit is too often broken up by various social elements, which leave the children in distress and danger.
