Abstract
The Healthcare Technologies Management Program offered by Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin is a unique, innovative graduate management program designed to meet the needs of biomedical and clinical engineers and their employers. It provides several advantages over graduate business and technical degrees in preparing students for advancement into management positions. Feedback from graduates and employers indicates that the program prepares students well for advancement into management positions, and the degree provides students with the skill sets, knowledge, and perspectives employers look for when hiring and promoting engineers into technical management positions. Program outcomes after 14 years of experience are presented here.
