Abstract
The Adjective Generation Technique was used to evaluate and compare progressive relaxation training nd practice sessions for one female client. The subject acquired the relaxation skills and maintained them at 3 mo. follow-up. Changes in the referral complaint were also reported. The clinical advantages of using the technique over traditional anxiety scales were described.
