Abstract
Participants in death imagery workshops and in the psychology of death and dying classes were instructed to imagine that the Supreme Being confronts them with the ultimatum: Give me three good reasons why I should allow you to continue living, otherwise your life will end now. An overwhelming majority of the reasons offered by the participants fell into three categories: Love and positive interpersonal relationships, realizing one's potentials, and appreciation of beauty.
