Abstract

Although Francois Mauriac's critical bibliography is huge and ever growing, the problem of women has not been specifically treated in any of the critical works dedicated to him but only touched upon occasionally in chapters. In the present thesis, we have tried to analyze the essential problem ever present in his writings : the problem of Grace.
