Abstract

It is the purpose of this handbook to present material to the parents of speech-handicapped children which will help them understand mental dynamics, and stimulate them to cooperate with the speech pathologist by giving therapeutic home stimulation. All of these parental functions are necessary if the speech-defective child is to profit from speech therapy.
