Abstract
A change has been taking place in the brewing industry during the last few years. There has been a tendency to give up traditional methods of brewing for methods based on sound scientific principles. In line with this, the work of the chemical research laboratory has grown from almost nothing Until it now plays a role of vital importance to the industry.
