Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Macrocycle based on 4-cyanophenyl 4-Benzoylaminophenyl Ether

The chemical structure, the geometric parameters, and the degree of steric strain for the 18-membered macroheterocycle, obtained for the first time from 4-cyanophenyl 4-benozyl-aminophenyl ether, were determined as a result of x-ray crystallographic investigation. The factors influencing its conformation were investigated.
