Abstract

This dissertation examines the Friends Ramallah Mission with a focus on the FGS. It is a case study of the interaction between Americans and Palestinians. The goal of this dissertation is not to show that missionaries transmitted Christianity to their students, nor to evaluate their encounters as good or bad.
