Abstract

This study investigates the conversational skills of adolescents diagnosed with ADHD, specifically the pragmatic language skills or deficits they demonstrate in conversational interactions with their mothers. The purpose of this study is twofold in addressing the underlying research questions. The first purpose is to determine the nature and prevalence of pragmatic language deficits demonstrated by adolescents with ADHD and adolescents with ADHD comorbid with ODD or CD.
