Abstract

In this dissertation, two different aspects of the regulatory, properties of muscle phosphofructokinase have been investigated. One, is a detailed study of the changes in conformation of the enzyme induced by various ligands.The other is the elucidation of the multifunctional role of Mg²⁺ in the catalytic activity of the enzyme .
