Abstract
Perhaps one of the reasons why some students in high school do not achieve as well as they could, is the fact that they do not use the generally accepted methods of studying. Some teachers seem to think that if a student does not use certain recognized methods of study, he will be correspondingly low in achievement, while other teachers do not see too close a relationship between the two.
